Weathering the Change: Climate change, emergencies and disasters & gendered health equity
I was engaged to develop a Theory of Change addressing health and wellbeing inequities experienced by women, girls and gender diverse people in the context of climate change, emergencies and disasters. Co-designed with regional stakeholders, the Theory of Change outlines Women's Health Loddon Mallee's transformational approach: amplifying women's needs, voices and leadership; strengthening cross-sector knowledge and skills; and advocating for systemic change. Designing a workforce capacity building program supporting application of gendered and intersectional health promotion practice.
I am currently leading the design of a regional workforce capacity building program focused on strengthening gendered and intersectional health promotion practice across the Loddon Mallee region. The program aims to support practitioners working in community health, local government and related sectors to better integrate gender responsive, trauma informed and culturally safe approaches into chronic disease prevention and broader health promotion work.
The project includes regional workforce engagement, development of a program design framework and creation of practical resources including training materials, a program design guide and a community of practice model to support ongoing learning and collaboration across the region.

Supporting local engagement and partnerships to improve access to sexual and reproductive health care
I am supporting Women’s Health Goulburn North East to lead local engagement and community mobilisation for the visit of BreastScreen Victoria’s Mobile Women’s Health Clinic to Mansfield Shire. The work focuses on activating local partnerships, coordinating targeted outreach and delivering a communications strategy to increase awareness and reduce barriers to accessing sexual and reproductive health care.
The project involves working with community organisations, health professionals, local champions, businesses and media to ensure the visiting clinic is well promoted, trusted and accessible to women, girls and gender diverse people.

Supporting development of Aboriginal-led models of care through evidence review and engagement design
In collaboration with consulting network Disruptive Hive, I am contributing specialist advisory support to projects developing Aboriginal-led models of care with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations in Victoria.
This work includes preparing evidence reviews and supporting engagement processes to inform the development of an Aboriginal-led opioid pharmacotherapy model of care with the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service and a feasibility project exploring an Aboriginal-led oral health model of care with the Western District Aboriginal Collective.
